Instead of !is_branch, check for quirk->device_id is nonzero. Other than that, I think the changes looks good. However, I'm starting to think this needs to be split to three patches: 1/3: Add support for device_id based detection. 2/3: Change limited M/N quirk to constant N quirk. 3/3: Add LG quirk to the table. The changes touch drm helpers so please Cc: dri-devel too.
