Please don't go around and make copies of functions (also see below). The only difference seems to be the use of ahci_multi_irqs_intr_hard_armada8k where as ahci_host_activate_multi_irqs() uses ahci_multi_irqs_intr_hard as IRQ handler. And ahci_multi_irqs_intr_hard_armada8k itself is a copy of ahci_multi_irqs_intr_hard() with a small change No, just no all this function copying is not ok, hard NACK! Instead make the changes which I suggested above and set the AHCI_HFLAG_MULTI_MSI flag to make ahci_host_activate() do what you want.
