The SMBus system interface (SSIF) IPMI BMC driver can be used to perform
in-band IPMI communication with their host in management (BMC) side.

No. That should be:
	depends on I2C

We don't select an entire subsystem just to satisfy one driver.

Thanks Ryan for the review,

In this current implementation, Slave ignores the current transaction 
until there is new valid incoming request. My concern is that if Slave 
responses with nack would make host to retry and keep waiting response 
for the current request instead of resend a new request.

Hope to see more comments about the idea.
