If you know the process, you can skip it (please do not feel offended by me posting it here - no bad intentions intended). If you do not know the process, here is a short explanation: Please add Acked-by/Reviewed-by/Tested-by tags when posting new versions, under or above your Signed-off-by tag. Tag is "received", when provided in a message replied to you on the mailing list. Tools like b4 can help here. However, there's no need to repost patches *only* to add the tags. The upstream maintainer will do that for tags received on the version they apply. https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/v6.5-rc3/source/Documentation/process/submitting-patches.rst#L577 </form letter> Best regards, Krzysztof

The v6.12/arm64-dt branch will then be sent via a formal Pull Request to the Linux SoC maintainers for inclusion in their intermediate git branches in order to be sent to Linus during the next merge window, or sooner if it's a set of fixes. In the cases of fixes, those will be merged in the current release candidate kernel and as soon they appear on the Linux master branch they will be backported to the previous Stable and Long-Stable kernels [2]. The intermediate git branches are merged daily in the linux-next tree [3], people are encouraged testing these pre-release kernels and report issues on the relevant mailing-lists. If problems are discovered on those changes, please submit a signed-off-by revert patch followed by a corrective changeset. Hi, I'm sorry, could you drop these patches from amlogic/linux.git? I changed my mind that adding new dts just for renaming product is wrong.
