I guess other VRR registers get written, but since we check VRR_TRANS_CTL.VRR_CTL_FLIP_LINE_EN before reading these registers, we are not reading those and getting a state mismatch. e.g. : https://intel-gfx-ci.01.org/tree/drm-tip/Patchwork_134383v13/bat-rplp-1/igt@i915_module_load@load.html I think we are missing to write trans_vrr_ctl in fastset path for platform. I still need to look why is this showing up in this particular platform and config. During modeset enable sequence, program the fixed timings, and turn on the VRR Timing Generator (VRR TG) for platforms that always use VRR TG. For this intel_vrr_set_transcoder now always programs fixed timings. Later if vrr timings are required, vrr_enable() will switch to the real VRR timings.
