From: Luke Shumaker <lukeshu@datawire.io>

In order to keep the diffs in the next two commits small easy-to-read,
go ahead and make some essentially stylistic changes to fast-export and
fast-import. Rename some variables and struct members, move some code
arround, introduce new temporary variables for clarity. That sort of
thing.
