First iterate through CRTCS that will be disabled to make sure we unset all bits for PHYs being disabled. That would mean doing the "if else" part of your logic above. 2. Then we can loop again to set bits for phys of active CRTCs. I suggest doing it this way because there isn't a strict 1:1 map between connectors and crtcs, meaning that a connector could be driven by crtc A in the old state and but then by crtc B in the new state.
