Get drivers out of the business of having to call the block layer
dma alignment limits helpers themselves.

nit: I am not sure that we really need to zero this, but it also seems 
needless for max_channel also ...

In this case we need it (at least to keep the existing behavior), as
the SCSI mid layer sets a default alignment, and iSCSI claims to have
no alignment requirements at all.
