Exynos's host has divider logic before 'cclk_in' to controller core.
It means that actual clock rate of ciu clock comes from this divider
value. So, source clock should be adjusted along with 'ciu_div' which
indicates the host's divider ratio. Setting clock rate basically fits
the required speed. Specially, 'cclk_in' should have double rate of
target speed in case of DDR 8-bit mode.

I've refactored this code in ChromeOS-3.4 kernel.
Please see references to dw_mci_exynos_set_bus_hz() in:
    https://gerrit.chromium.org/gerrit/#/c/57861/9/drivers/mmc/host/dw_mmc-exynos.c

Have you considered using that code? Perhaps Alim didn't point out
this work to you?

It might be easier to read here:
    http://git.chromium.org/gitweb/?p=chromiumos/third_party/kernel.git;a=blob;f=drivers/mmc/host/dw_mmc.c;h=41ff5a0d79dffb488a413c51ba14024d4dda1275;hb=refs/heads/chromeos-3.4

The same code was adopted for ChromeOS-3.8 kernel tree:
    http://git.chromium.org/gitweb/?p=chromiumos/third_party/kernel-next.git;a=commitdiff;h=39ae94e55a0ad4584b5ff85e2a342a5f867c4d21

The codes related to tuning feature have been introduced and opened already in Android kernel from our side.
Basically this changes are based on below and updated with latest kernel:

@ mmc: dw_mmc: add support of tuning feature
https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/exynos/+/016ebd43ab27cf8b0258d1e7d3e3288d7f7aab6a%5E%21/#F0

@ ARM: EXYNOS: adjust the clock rate for mmcx
https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/exynos/+/13afd72b983cc0438a295fa827ff1246fed148b2%5E%21/#F0
