Date: Thu, 8 Jan 2015 11:28:05 +1030 Message-Id: <1420678687-30548-2-git-send-email-rusty@rustcorp.com.au> X-Mailer: git-send-email 2.1.0 In-Reply-To: <1420678687-30548-1-git-send-email-rusty@rustcorp.com.au> References: <1420678687-30548-1-git-send-email-rusty@rustcorp.com.au> Sender: linux-parisc-owner@vger.kernel.org Precedence: bulk List-ID: X-Mailing-List: linux-parisc@vger.kernel.org X-Spam-Status: No, score=-6.9 required=5.0 tests=BAYES_00, RCVD_IN_DNSWL_HI, T_RP_MATCHES_RCVD, UNPARSEABLE_RELAY autolearn=unavailable version=3.3.1 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.3.1 (2010-03-16) on mail.kernel.org X-Virus-Scanned: ClamAV using ClamSMTP Archs have been abusing module_free() to clean up their arch-specific allocations. Since module_free() is also (ab)used by BPF and trace code, let's keep it to simple allocations, and provide a hook called before that. This means that avr32, ia64, parisc and s390 no longer need to implement their own module_free() at all. avr32 doesn't need module_finalize() either.
