From: Min Li <min.li.xe@renesas.com>

We used to assume 0x2010xxxx address. Now that we
need to access 0x2011xxxx address, we need to
support read/write the whole 32-bit address space.

Signed-off-by: Min Li <min.li.xe@renesas.com>
---
1) Have to re-write regmap code for clockmatrix since regmap_range_cfg can't
handle offset register after 32-bit address is considered
2) Huge change to idt8a340_reg.h is due to address change from 16-bit to 32-bit
3) Have to change ptp_clockmatrix all together otherwise it would be broken

why did you decide to change from 0xff to 0xFF as part of this big
change? It's unnecessary churn.

Why are you flipping all these arguments?
Isn't HW_Q8_CTRL_SPARE regaddr?

Could you to split your patches into multiple steps to make them easier
to reivew?

+1

I was thinking the same thing.

Thanks,
Richard

I will revert it back to 0xff

static inline int idtcm_write(struct idtcm *idtcm,
- u16 module,
+ u32 module,
 			      u16 regaddr,
 			      u8 *buf,
 			      u16 count)

HW_Q8_CTRL_SPARE is the module and is a u32. regaddr is the offset within the module.
They used to be both u16 but after the change, module becomes u32.

I will split the change into ptp and mfd respectively.
